Happy New Year, music lovers! 🎉

I’m starting off 2021 with a super fun interview with singer-songwriter Rozzi!

Discovered at age 19 by Adam Levine, Rosalind Elizabeth “Rozzi” Crane has released a variety of EPs and singles as well as one full-length album, Bad Together, since signing with Adam Levine’s record label in 2012. (She is now with Small Giant Records/Columbia Records.) She’s toured with Gavin DeGraw, Owl City, Betty Who and more. I discovered her music when she opened for Betty Who in Portland back in 2019. I was blown away by her vocals, incredible energy, and instant connection with the crowd. My best friend Shayna and I particularly loved her tune “Best Friend Song,” which she performed as an unreleased single at the time.

Although Rozzi was unavailable for a live interview, she put together this little video of her answering a few of my questions and performing 2 of my favorite songs. Enjoy, and thanks so much Rozzi for taking the time to create this video! 🙂
