If you know me pretty well, you know that I adore the British boyband The Wanted. I was introduced to them at age 13 and became a diehard fan pretty quickly. Through The Wanted, I learned about the ins and outs of the music industry/fan culture, realized I wanted a career in the industry myself, started this blog, began working in radio… and the rest is history.

I was thrilled to chat (via Insta live) with Siva this week, one of the former members of TW. After the band’s breakup a few years back, each of the guys went solo to peruse various projects. Siva has been working on brand new music and recently released two amazing singles, “Breathe In” & “Ready For This Love.”

We reminisced about The Wanted, talked new material, and chatted about Portland! Siva even gave me the inside scoop on his favorite TW track. If someone had told 13-year-old Sophie she’d be having a conversation with Siva from The Wanted in 2020, her little fangirl heart would have exploded.
